Cynthia Decker
 

Cynthia has led the creation of successful online and print promotions for clients that include Sony, Cisco, Sun, HP, MyPoints, LeapFrog, Safeway, Logitech, Johnson and Johnson and Chevron.

She led the design team on HP's Now You Can campaign which was a finalist at the 2009 Ad Tech Awards for best B2B campaign. Creative Direction for brand and web garnered a W3 silver medal for best self promotion.

As Creative Director at Redband, a Sony music and entertainment agency, Cynthia worked on accounts for record industry clients including Columbia and Arista’s labels, where she created rich media promotions for myriad artists including Train, Aerosmith, and Stevie Nicks. Her brand design and development, with associated advertising, were featured in Advertising in America as the best brand campaign of 2001.

Involved in GUI and UI design work since the inception of interactive CD ROMs, Cynthia led the UI design and production of several best selling children's educational CD ROMs in the late 90s. Following that she was the Sr. Art Director on the redesign of Looksmart. When the directory search engine relaunched in 2000 it became the web's most visited search site.

Making complex tasks simple, aesthetic, intuitive and fun has been a primary focus of Cynthia's work which has included interactive TV, push technology, CD-ROMs, web applications, online auctions, streaming audio networks and e-commerce.

Cynthia holds a design degree from the Colorado Institute of Art and participates on the advisory board for the California Institute of Art.
